CygamesPictures, a Tokyo-based animation studio under CyberAgent, signed an agreement with Saga City on February 27 to establish a new production studio in Saga. The facility will open in March near Saga Station, starting with four employees and aiming to expand to 50 staff within 10 years. The company plans to recruit and train animators primarily from Saga and the wider Kyushu region, with the long-term goal of producing complete animation works locally. The move follows a corporate restructuring that made the studio a consolidated subsidiary of CyberAgent. Source: Cygames Pictures / Nikkei
