Dentist Nabs Dental Silver in Night Heist at Kyushu University Hospital

A 38-year-old dentist has been arrested for allegedly breaking into Kyushu University Hospital in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, and stealing a silver dental crown, valued at approximately 7,600 yen. The suspect, who worked at the hospital until 2020, is believed to have used a former employee ID card for nighttime entry. The police have confirmed the suspect’s admission of the crime and are investigating the motive, including the possibility of selling the stolen item for cash.
