Local Miyazaki beer Kurikuro, which placed in the World Beer Awards under the category “Stout and Porter”, is now on sale in Japan. Kurikuro was first produced by Hideji Beer Brewery for export to western countries. The owner recently decided to sell the beer online in response to the increasing domestic demand. This original craft beer uses Miyazaki-grown chestnuts and features a coffee-like flavor rich in nuts, herbs and sweet chestnuts. Source: Sankei West, 6/29/2018
