First Rise in Regional Public Works Construction in Eight Months
The Fukuoka branch of the West Japan Surety Co. released the results of public works construction trends in the Kyushu-Okinawa region for July, which showed there were 3,757 projects for the month. This is a 6.7% increase from the year-before period, and the first such rise in eight months. The value of the construction subcontracted was 140.7 billion yen, a 2.8% increase.
