The first excavation project in ten years will begin inside the Yoshinogari site in Saga Prefecture. While the site already revealed many clues from the Yayoi era in the past, the new project would investigate a new ground of approximately 4,200 m2. It is considered that the hilly land might have a tomb of an important figure underneath. Live streaming and visitor events will be held, too! Source: NHK
