Ninjin Net in Nagasaki has installed wireless LAN systems in the 16 primary shopping malls in Nagasaki City and Sasebo with operation beginning in March, it was learned. Users with smart phones or other devices will be able to access the systems for free to receive tourism, shopping, and other information. A similar system exists in Fukuoka City’s Tenjin district, but a Ninjin Net spokesman says this is the first time in Japan systems have been installed simultaneously to cover a specified regional area.
