Fukuoka Airport has initiated a campaign to ease parking congestion during the summer vacation by urging travelers to use the international terminal’s parking area, which is usually less crowded. Incentives include vouchers worth 3,000 yen for those using this parking for 24 hours or more, redeemable at airport eateries and stores. The campaign, active from August 11th to the 31st, also offers three hours of free parking in the international terminal’s area from July to August 31st. These measures are in response to intense congestion due to ongoing construction and high demand during the holiday season, and the airport is also promoting the use of public transportation.
