The Fukuoka City-based Fukuoka Bank announced the formation of a business partnership with the Kasikorn Bank of Thailand, one of the largest in that country. The objective is to provide support to Kyushu companies establishing a presence in Thailand by enabling them to open accounts and receive loans there. An increasing number of Kyushu manufacturers has been launching operations in Thailand.
