Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce to Establish Support Desk for Kyushu Companies Eying Overseas Expansion

On July 2, the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce will open a new support counter for small and medium-sized enterprises based in Kyushu aiming to expand their operations outside of Japan. Consultations will be provided in a joint effort by four organizations including the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation (SME Support). Each of these four organizations currently offers consulting services, but the new counter would make these services more accessible for companies by putting them under one roof. The Chamber will establish a dedicated site for the counter on its homepage and will accept consultation requests by email. By working together, the four organizations can share information on support cases and pool their collective know-how to help local companies expand their sales channels abroad. Source: fiba.jp
