Fukuoka City Subway Station Naming Revised

Fukuoka City Subway Ohorikoen (Ohori Park) Station will be also known as “Fukuoka Art Museum Station” from Mar. 7. The Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau will assign the additional name to the station to make it more clear to passengers that the Fukuoka Art Museum, which is reopening on Mar. 21, is near from the station. The new name will appear on the station signs along with other special decorations featuring the museum’s collection. Fukuoka City Subway has also assigned the alias “Zoo & Botanical Garden” to Yakuin-odori Station in 2018. As such, this will be the second such case. Source: Fukuoka City Subway, 2/26/2019
