The Fukuoka Employers’ Association released the results of its October survey in which 28% of the companies said they would reduce their new college graduate hires this spring. This was a 3.8 percentage-point increase from the previous year. A total of 12.7% of the companies said they would increase the hires, down 5.0 percentage points from last year.
