The Fukuoka City-based Fukuoka Financial Group, which operates several regional banks, will establish liaison officers in 88 of its affiliated bank branches at the end of October to provide support for the overseas expansion of its corporate customers. They plan to appoint people who have worked or studied abroad to those positions. The 88 branches account for roughly 30% of all their branches.
