Fukuoka Man Arrested for Hidden Camera

A 33-year-old male employee, Hayato Hikichi, residing in the Higashi Ward of Fukuoka City, has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a female coworker’s apartment and installing a hidden camera. Hikichi allegedly made a duplicate key without permission to gain access to the woman’s home.

According to police, Hikichi is suspected of illegally entering his 24-year-old coworker’s apartment in Fukuoka’s Higashi Ward in July and placing the camera in her changing area. It is believed he intended to film the woman changing clothes.

Hikichi reportedly observed the woman’s key at their workplace and took note of the make and serial number, subsequently ordering a duplicate online. In August, the victim found an unfamiliar camera in her home. Police then installed a camera at the entrance to her apartment, which captured Hikichi the next day, leading to his arrest. He has admitted to the allegations, and police are further investigating his motives. Source: TNC
