Fukuoka MK to Hire 1,000 as Part of National Program

Fukuoka MK, a member company of the MK Group, which operates low-fare taxicabs in the Kansai and Kanto regions, announced plans to hire about 1,000 drivers and other employees after it opens its Fukuoka City office later this month. This is part of a group-wide project to create employment nationwide by hiring about 10,000 people in 10 locations in Japan. The company is both providing a place of employment for temporary workers recently laid off by other companies, as well as accelerating their own business expansion.
