Fukuoka Prefecture Preparing Guidelines to Adjust Restraints – Two New COVID-19 Cases Yesterday

Fukuoka Prefecture has begun developing guidelines to relax its requests for business closures and self-restraint for outings. A specialist panel reportedly proposed five indexes and four levels of alerts to gauge the local infection situation. Those scores will be used to relax or tighten restrictions on social activities. Details may be announced by the prefectural governor as early as May 11. On May 10, Fukuoka Prefecture announced one new case of confirmed COVID-19 infection, bringing the cumulative total to 654.
