Fukuoka Prefecture’s International Exchange Center Coordinating Contribution for Exchange Students

The Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation is seeking food donations to support exchange students. The prefecture has approximately 19,000 exchange students, many of whom are suffering financial difficulties under the impact of the spread of the new coronavirus. To help those students, the center will hold monthly food distribution events until Dec. 2020. To donate, please see the details below. Types of food:

Rice, instant noodles, retort pouched food, canned food, etc.

Conditions:

Products that can be safely stored at room temperature (except raw foods)

Packaged products (unopened, package undamaged)

Products that display a best before date no sooner than two months later

For rice: Polished date (*精米日) is no older than two years ago. Five-kilogram or smaller package

How to donate:

Bring in to the center between 9:00~17:00 on weekdays (Kokusai Hiroba: 8F ACROS Fukuoka West Building, 1-1-1 Tenjin)

Or send to the center *delivery costs should be borne by the donator (*Accepted until Dec. 15, 2020)
