Congratulations (again!) to Chef/Owner Takeshi Fukuyama and his staff for ranking 24th in the 2019 edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. His restaurant, La Maison de la Nature Goh, located in Nishi-nakasu and serves creative French omakase (chef’s selection) courses. Last year his restaurant came in 49th. Fukuoka Now introduced La Maison de la Nature Goh one year ago in the April 2018 issue of Fukuoka Now and we also mentioned him in our recent report on the Coto Coto Train in which Fukuyama provides the lunch. But don’t wait too long to visit his restaurant as Fukuyama and Gaggan Anand, chef-owner of the four-time Best Restaurant in Asia, Gaggan, both plan to close their restaurants in 2020, and open a new restaurant run by both cooks in Fukuoka.
