La Maison de la Nature Goh, a French restaurant opened in Nishi-nakasu in 2002 by maverick chef Takeshi Fukuyama, attracts gourmands from around the globe. The menu consists only of chef’s courses that use seasonal ingredients from Fukuoka and the greater Kyushu area, and Fukuyama’s innovative techniques bring out the most of each ingredient for a unique and sensorially delightful experience. In 2016, it became the first restaurant in Kyushu named to the “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list”, and it made the ranking again in 2018. Reservations are recommended.
