Fukuoka Sake and Shochu App Debuts

A new app dedicated to Fukuoka-produced sake and shochu debuted on Nov. 6. Users can conveniently access information on participating sake and shochu-serving restaurants, get discount coupons for those shops, and read articles related to local liquor production. Fukuoka Prefecture runs the smartphone application to support local breweries and distilleries facing reduced demands under the impact of the new coronavirus spread. The project also opened an official online store on Nov. 6. Source: Fukuoka Prefecture
