Fukuoka City Subway announced a special train decoration with motifs of the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival. A six-car train will be decorated using three kinds of stickers displaying different scenes of the festival. The train will run from 7/1 (Mon.) to 7/15 (Mon., hol.). Fukuoka City Subway will also operate special early morning trains between 3 am to 6 am on July 15 for those who are planning to see the Oiyama event, the climax of the summer festival.
