Fukuoka Prefecture is promoting the development of “Space Japanese Food” by offering a trial menu at a restaurant in the prefectural office. The menu includes JAXA-certified curry and dishes local companies hope to get certified, like Hakata chicken porridge and pumpkin-carrot soup. Governor Hattori sampled the food and praised the efforts, encouraging companies to pursue JAXA certification. The initiative aims to support Japanese astronauts with stress relief and balanced nutrition, though no Kyushu-based products have been certified yet. The trial menu is available from the 12th to the 15th of this month. Source: Fukuoka Prefecture / NHK / TNC
