Fukuoka Wall Art Project

Fukuoka Wall Art Project is turning large-scale construction sites in the central area of Fukuoka City into art installations. A contest was held between August and September to select the thirty paintings and drawings to decorate the main streets of Hakata and Tenjin. The project also aims to support artists amidst the impact of the new coronavirus spread. It seeks organizations that can provide walls to exhibit art pieces for free until March 2022.
