Hawaiian Airlines has begun regular round trip service between Honolulu and Fukuoka City. There will be one flight a day. The airline began service because they anticipate increased demand for tourism with the operation of the Kyushu Shinkansen. They are the second major U.S. airline to provide service between the two cities, following the start of Delta flights on the same route at the end of last year.
