Businessman Horie Takafumi, originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, is set to become the chairman of CROSS FM, a radio station based in Kitakyushu City. According to sources, Horie and two others have reached an agreement to acquire all shares of CROSS FM by the end of August, currently held by Yoshida Yoshiaki, the founder of DHC and outgoing chairman. In the new organizational structure, Horie will serve as chairman with executive authority, while his business partner will take on the role of CEO. Yoshida will step down from his position.
