JA Miyazaki will open an office in Hong Kong in May to promote Miyazaki agricultural products in the territory and throughout Asia. The objective is to create new sales channels not only for beef and pork, but also for locally grown satsumaimo yams. It reportedly will be the first time a local JA group in Japan has opened an overseas office .
