Japan Entertainment (JE) and Meio University have signed a partnership agreement to develop advanced personnel in management and marketing for the tourism industry. JE, which is constructing a theme park in Okinawa, will cooperate in curriculum development and use the park as an internship venue. Meio University’s new International Tourism Industry Department will partner with JE to educate students on topics that promote the tourism industry, practical training, and case studies as research. JE’s theme park is scheduled to open in 2025 and will accept students as interns after its opening. The agreement is expected to raise the university’s profile and enrich the educational content for up to 160 students. Source: Meio University / Nikkei
