JR Kyushu has launched a “Happy Turn Hiring” program aimed at rehiring former employees who left the company for personal reasons or due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative targets individuals under 60 and will have two main intake periods per year, in April and October. JR Kyushu’s President Yoji Furumiya emphasized the need for mid-career hires to meet the demands of a recovering customer base. The move is part of the company’s strategy to cope with increased resignations and declining revenue. Source: JR Kyushu / Nikkei
