JR Kyushu Bus announced they will launch highway bus service between Hakata and Miyazaki in April. They had been jointly offering service on the same route with Nishitetsu and others, but that agreement has been cancelled and they will operate the service independently. There will be 10 round trips a day, and the trip will be shorter than the joint service by 20-30 minutes because they will not pass through Fukuoka City’s Tenjin district.
