Built-in Australia, the 83-meter high-speed trimaran ferry will operate between Fukuoka, Japan, and Busan, South Korea, and can transport 502 passengers at speeds of 37 knots. The vessel features a customized interior, developed by the highly-respected Japanese design house, Don Design Associates, famous for the luxuriously appointed interiors of JR Kyushu’s high-end passenger trains. Service on the Queen Beetle was scheduled to begin from July 15 but has been postponed indefinitely due to the spread of COVID-19. Queen Beetle official site
