The Kagoshima Bank of Kagoshima City will join with six local companies to launch the Agricluster Fund for companies in the agricultural sector in southern Kyushu this month. It will be the first agricultural fund in the nation backed entirely by the private sector. The bank hopes it will provide a fillip to the regional economy, as agriculture is the core industry of the region.
