JR Kyushu will invite 2,600 members of the public to visit the railway yard of Kamome shinkansen. Guests can enter the yard to see the inside of the train cars for about an hour on Mar. 20. Applications are accepted online until 10:00 on Feb. 14. It was also announced that the music to play at each stop along the new route is by Minoru Mukaiya, the former keyboardist for Casiopea jazz fusion band. Six tunes representing scenes of local Kunchi festivals and more can be heard in a video on Youtube. Source: JR Kyushu 1 / JR Kyushu 2 / KBC / Asahi
