The Morgan Stanley group, owners of the Kijima Koen Park leisure facility in Beppu, Oita Prefecture, announced their intention to sell the park and its hotel and golf course to a new company owned primarily by an Oita Bank-affiliated corporate reconstruction fund on May 1. The purchase price was not disclosed. The new owners plan to maintain the current staff and the current level of operations. The park has been in operation since 1967.
