Koreans Cancel Participation at Tsushima Festival

The city of Busan canceled plans to participate in the Tsushima Izuhara Port Festival of Tsushima City, Nagasaki, reflecting the current diplomatic situation between the two countries. The festival was planning to welcome a restored wooden ship of Korean correspondents in Edo Period to attend a parade on August 3 and 4. It was going to be the first visit of the ship in Japan after being restored last year. In addition to the ship, a significant part of 120 Korean guests have canceled their visit to the festival.
