Hoshino Resorts (Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture) will open a new urban hotel, “OMO5 Kumamoto by Hoshino Resorts,” in the heart of Kumamoto City on April 25. The hotel is located on the 3rd to 11th floors of the commercial facility “HAB@Kumamoto,” which has been redeveloped by Parco, and is close to the popular tourist attraction Kumamoto Castle. The hotel aims to capture the demand from tourists exploring the city and business travelers. This is the first OMO-type hotel in Kyushu. Hoshino Resorts and Parco held a press preview on April 24, ahead of the hotel’s opening. The hotel has 160 rooms in eight types, ranging from single rooms to family rooms that can accommodate up to six people.
