Kyushu Electric Power is implementing a program to strengthen its power transmission capabilities by building new transmission lines and transformers. In addition to creating a 500,000-volt core transmission line between Oita and Miyazaki, the only Kyushu district without one, they are adding a second line between Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu. The objective is to respond to increased demand and ensure stable supply of power.
