Kyuden International, a subsidiary of the Kyushu Electric Power utility company, announced it has created a new renewable energy company in India in partnership with NTPC, India’s largest power company, and the Asia Development Bank. It is the second renewable enterprise in which a Kyushu Electric group company is involved. The new company’s objective is to generate roughly 500,000 kW of power in three years using wind and hydroelectric generation.
