Kyushu University Co-develops Component for Use in New Coronavirus Vaccines

Kyushu University and a Fukuoka-based startup Kaiko Ltd. have co-developed a potential antigenic protein for use in new coronavirus vaccines. The group succeeded in culturing ‘Antigen S Protein,’ a new antigen artificially created inside silkworms. As for the next step, the team will partner with a pharmaceutical company to establish efficient mass production. Source: NHK
