Kyushu University Medical Lighthouse AI Announced

Kyushu University developed AI to identify medical cures for diseases. Professor Keiichi Nakayama and his fellow researchers at Harvard Medical School and Hokkaido University succeeded in detecting candidate compounds for treating the new coronavirus by simply providing an amino acid sequence of the protein that develops the disease. The quick and cutting-edge system with a potential to transform conventional pharmaceutical research is named ‘Lighthouse.’ Source: NHK / Kyushu University
