Convenience store chain Lawson’s announced it had established the subsidiary Lawson Farm Kagoshima and has already started agricultural production in that prefecture. They are working a 10-hectare plot with the local Minami Kyushu Noen company to grow daikon radishes, cabbage, and sweet potatoes this year. They expect a crop of 600 tons.
