The “Stage Square Vision” at the Solaria Stage Building will undergo a major renovation starting October 17, 2024, through early February 2025. First installed in 1997, this large screen, a popular meeting spot in central Tenjin, will be revamped for the first time in 12 years. The screen will increase in size from 7.8 square meters to 72 square meters, making it more than 9 times larger than before and the largest station screen in Kyushu. A new 8-meter-wide and 9-meter-tall display will offer interactive content and transform the location into an even more prominent landmark in Tenjin.
The screen will switch from LCD to LED, with pixel count increasing from 2.07 million to 4.71 million, significantly improving brightness and visibility, ensuring clear images at any time of day. In addition to regular area updates, the upgraded screen will enhance its function as an information hub, providing real-time weather and transportation alerts during emergencies. This renovation is part of ongoing efforts to raise Tenjin’s profile and increase its vibrancy, ahead of the opening of the ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in 2025. Source: Nishitetsu
