Mother and Infant Daughter Bring Total Cases of COVID-19 to 29 in Fukuoka Prefecture

Kitakyushu City announced on March 30 that a resident in his sixties has become infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19.) The man was hospitalized for another illness after developing a fever on March 27. He tested positive for COVID-19 on March 30. The city is currently trying to contact those who were in close contact with him, including hospital staff. Earlier on the same day, a baby girl less than a year old and her mother in Fukuoka City were tested positive for the virus. The baby girl is reportedly showing mild symptoms.
