A new airport limousine bus service connecting the Fukuoka Airport International Terminal and the Momochi area in Sawara-ku began its service on Thursday, April 27. Around 4.99 million people used the international terminal in 2016, but the amount of buses running to the city has remained somewhat limited. The bus, which costs ¥1,000, runs to the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk hotel and according to reports, it saves as much as 25 minutes off the existing journey. The service will run 26 times a day (for 13 round trips). New routes via Tenjin and Canal City are scheduled to start in May. Source: TNC, 4/27/2017
