Nishitetsu announced the discontinuation of point services for its train and bus passengers from April 2021. According to Nishitetsu’s announcement on Feb. 18, terminating the incentive programs is expected to improve its balance sheet by approximately ¥650 million. The company also announced reductions in the number of local bus operations to overcome huge deficits created by the new coronavirus pandemic.
