As Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine continues, a special exhibition is being held at the Kotake Town Museum to introduce the paintings drawn during the Pacific War. This unique exhibition was held at the “War Museum of Soldiers and Common People” in Kotake Town to let people know the misery of war and the preciousness of peace. At the venue, more than 20 reproductions of the battlefield records drawn by painters who served in the former Japanese army in Southeast Asia around 1945 are on display. This special exhibition is open until the 15th of next month. Source: NHK
