On Nov. 27 police arrested Kosuke Iwayama, a 29-year unemployed man from Kasuga City, on charges of theft and unlawful entering for allegedly breaking into three apartments of female university students in Kasuga and Fukuoka and stealing ¥116,000 worth of goods, including computers and underwear. The police have concluded their investigation and have forwarded the case to the prosecutors. Iwayama is suspected of committing three separate break-ins between mid-July and late August, and more than 500 pairs of women’s underwear were recovered from his apartment.
