According to a Fukuoka-based housing market-research company, Jutaku Ryutsu Shimposha, the number of apartment sales in Kyushu between January to June dropped by 27.6% from the same period in 2019. Due to the limited sales activities under the impact of the new coronavirus’s spread, the entire region registered sales of only 2,538 apartments, a record low since the survey began in 2008. Also, during the same period, a record-low 2,254 apartments were listed for sale. Source: Nikkei
