Fukuoka City-based restaurant chain is sending employees in groups to shelters in Miyagi Prefecture for those who lost their homes in the Tohoku earthquake to offer residents 12,000 servings of their primary dish, Nagasaki champon. The first squad of 12 employees was led by President Kazuhide Yoneyama. They will stay until April 5, alternating employees and moving among four shelters. Ringer Hut has four outlets in Miyagi Prefecture, but two were destroyed in the earthquake and tsunami.
