Basketball club Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka will build a new 6,000-seat arena in Fukuoka’s Higashi Ward, scheduled to open in March 2029. The four-story facility will include luxury suites and an eight-meter video screen. Construction begins in August 2026 on a 14,000-square-meter site in Kashiiteriha, where the team’s current facilities are located. Meeting arena standards is a key step toward joining the new B.League Premier, set to launch in autumn 2026.
