Saga Balloon Festival Plans Alternative Events

The organizing committee for the Saga International Balloon Fiesta announced alternative events for its 2020 festival. On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, about thirty balloons will fly near Saga City so fans can enjoy watching from their homes and on the city’s streets. The traditional nighttime mooring of the balloons, La Montgolfier Nocturne, will take place in early November. A collaboration of music and the viewing of twenty-four balloons against the night sky will be live-streamed on TV and the internet. (In the event of inclement weather, both events may be canceled.) Additionally, the committee is currently seeking funds to continue the festival in the coming years. Source: Saga International Balloon Fiesta  / Saga TV
