Saga Prefecture became the first in Kyushu to have a prefecture-level group providing support to NEETs, or people “Not in Employment, Education or Training”. The group, named the Saga Prefecture Regional Council for Supporting Children and Young People, is an umbrella association for 22 other organizations in the employment, education, and medical sectors. Their objective is to help improve the daily life of the NEETs.
